5. Choose ITR-1 form and click on continue
6. Fill in all the details such as personal information, income details, deductions, and tax payments
7. Click on "Validate" to ensure that all the mandatory fields are filled in
8. Generate and download the XML file and save it on your computer
9. Upload the saved XML file and click on submit
10. On successful submission, an acknowledgment receipt will be generated. You can download and keep a copy of it for future reference.
