24 hours after the launch of the new Income Tax Return
submission portal. Many of them have said that there are many problems in
accessing the portal. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman attended the function.
Infosys' company has created a new portal, so he told them, "Hopefully the
service is being provided, do not disappoint our taxpayers in terms of
quality."
In a direct tweet on Tuesday, he said, "The long-awaited
e-filing portal 2.0 was launched at 8:48 last night. I can see complaints and
errors in my timeline. Nirmala also said that Infosys and Nandan Nilekani
should not disappoint our taxpayers in terms of the quality of service being
provided (co-founder of Infosys). We should see first so that the taxpayers can
work easily.
This new portal was launched on Monday. But since then he has
been making multiple complaints, not being able to access the portal. Many
people also tweeted about it. After that, Sitharaman tweeted that even after
talking to Infosys on behalf of 'Mint' about the matter; no reply has been
received so far.
Based on the lack of social media and complaints, the Union
Finance Minister himself tweeted that the government was taking the matter very
seriously. The government does not want the taxpayers to have any problem. The
Union Finance Minister said that the process of paying income tax through this
new portal will be much easier and faster. The new income tax e-filing website
was launched on Monday. According to the Union Finance Ministry, the new
website will make the process of paying income tax much easier and faster. New
e-filing link: www.incometax.gov.in the new portal has added the facility of
instant income tax return calculation. As a result, taxpayers will easily get
quick refund. All the benefits of pre-filling will be available after uploading
TDS and SFT statements by June 30.
